- Checking for leaks and water damage
- Looking at tire wear and the suspension of the vehicle
- Testing the electrical and plumbing systems
- Looking for delamination
- Testing the functionality of all seals, including windows and doors
- Engine checks, including vital fluids, visible belts and hoses, and filters
- Undercarriage visual inspection, looking for leaks, suspension, drive shaft, and underside enclosures
